The flat bottom and triangular design make it sit upright on counter tops. The top zipper makes it easy to load and contain items. The large Stand Up Pouch weighs under 3 oz. making it light to travel with and carry in larger bags while the 1″ ring on the side attaches to the hook inside many of our bigger bags.
We even take ours backpacking.
